“a” means: “a”, “an”, “the”, “in”, “at”, “with”, “on”, “your”, “to”, or pretty much any preposition as needed. For example “I want a squishee.” (a Squish Ems apple sauce pouch) or “I want Mummy play a carz/trains/tent.” or “I want a go a bed.” (which is always a lie).

“Oh” means “I want”. For example “oh Mummy, oh Daddy” (at bedtime), “oh cars” (before bed, before breakfast, when we’re getting ready to leave for daycare in the morning, or any other time that playing with cars will slow us down or make us late), “oh cheese” (anytime he sees cheese, hears about cheese, smells cheese, or thinks about cheese).

flashback to 7 months: so this is spring

(From Mummy: Since we missed so much posting over the past 6 months or so, we’ll be going back from time to time, in “flashback” posts, to look at the stuff we missed.)

Daddy and Mummy say that “spring” is here. I don’t know what that means, do you?

It sure is bright, though!

I’m not too sure if I like this…

Here I am checking it out at the playground. Hmmm, not too bad.

Time to bring out the big guns.

I guess while we’re here I can contemplate life… Wait, what’s “life” again?

Daddy says it has something to do with love…

And Mummy thinks so, too…

I’ll have to think about it some more…

It’s getting warmer every day…

I could get used to this!

Mmm, yum, chomp, chomp, chomp…

You’d chomp, too, if you had new teeth coming in!

And people kissing you all the time, ack!

Well, so far I like this “spring”. More spring, please!
